What is project management?
Project management is the process of planning and executing a project, usually a large-scale project. As opposed to working within the context of a routine business process, a project management plan tackles a finite project; that is, it has a definite beginning and end point, often with budget and time constraints, and a clear end target. The ability to complete a project on-time and on-budget requires a different set of skills and tools than running a long-term successful business. That is why an exceptional project management plan includes a template that guides the work, enforces accountability and tracks the time, week-by-week, all of which are vital to the project’s success.
Dynamic Planning™ = project management success
What does project management success look like? We say a project is successful when it achieves the target or goal it set out to achieve, and when it is completed on time and on budget.
A lack of planning and structure will wreak havoc with timelines and budget, as well as causing frustration and confusion. It can reduce trust and lower morale. It gets in the way of project success. The result? Much higher costs; less payback for your efforts; less revenue for your organization; or worse, a project that fails altogether.

Why PGS?
“We could not have gotten this far or even clearly determined what our goals were without you and your team. The timeline and all the ancillary pieces have been invaluable for keeping us on track and on target. The day to day issues take my focus away. Without a document like this to bring me back to the task at hand and keep me focused we would never make it. With your help and tools I do believe we will reach our goal.”
